Hi ya!
Hongming is interested in applying latest deep learning and eXplainable AI (XAI) techniques to astrophysics. half of his current interests is to combine machine learning with citizen science to enable interesting scientific discoveries, while the other half was to develop potentially practical AI triggered data post-processing workflows for SKA.

Hongming is now a Shuimu postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Astronomy, Tsinghua Uni., in Dr. DDX's TAGLAB research group. He is working on deep learning applications upon the study of radio galaxy and galaxy dynamics. He is also the co-PI of an in-prep. Zooniverse citizen science project Radio Galaxy Zoo: EMU , which will pave the way for ASKAP EMU survey cataloguing and hunt thousands of unusual radio sources using state-of-the-art EMU radio sky survey data.
